Polishing Services
In this article we explain what yacht polishing is, which methods are used, which surfaces it applies to and the techniques required for professional results.
1. What Is Polishing?
Polishing is the process of bringing boat or yacht surfaces to a high gloss and smoothness using micro-abrasive products and mechanical power. Different polishing products and techniques are applied for different surfaces: paint, gelcoat, aluminium and stainless steel. Polishing is not just aesthetic — it also makes the surface more resistant to dirt and chemical attack.

2. Polishing Process
Three-stage system: Cut (compound for coarse correction, oxidation removal) → Polish (mid-level correction, swirl removal) → Protect (sealant or wax for protection). For 2K paint use DA polisher; for gelcoat use rotary or DA; for metal surfaces use metal-specific compound.
3. Conclusion
